Care in Midstream opened March 2018. This is what our customers say:

I have been involved with Retire@Midstream and the Frail Care facility for the last seven years. My mother was one of the very first residents in the new Care in Midstream facility in Mt. Quray Street, Midstream – and relocated from her Retire@Midstream bachelor’s unit in March 2018 when they opened their doors.

I would have gone to the ends of the earth to keep my mother in this magnificent facility – from the beautiful and well-designed building, the trouble taken to beautify the gardens and most of all the excellent level of care. It has never been a “hospital-like” environment, and the staff adopt their residents as one of their own. It was home for Mom, and I never had to worry about her. The quality of the caring – medical and otherwise cannot be found anywhere else (believe me, I looked) as I live in Johannesburg and Midstream was not exactly close by. My mother has since passed away, but I still drive through once a week to spend some quality time with my adopted family in both the residents and the staff – from Sr. Ida Britz in Nursing Management, the support staff in marketing, accounts and reception – the carers, sisters and cleaning and kitchen staff. Friendly, helpful, loving, caring and welcoming. Thank you again my Care in Midstream family for your compassion and care all-round.

So grateful my mom is one of your lucky residents.

Many thanks for your love and care of Irene. From the first day that she was accepted in the dementia unit, until her death in the Frail Care Centre, her care was exceptional. Thank you for the friendliness, love and the beautiful way you took care of her till the end.

These people are absolutely fantastic!!!! If you have safety, good loving care in mind, its the place to go.

It means a lot to me that you put so much effort into making sure that there are regular activities.

We all thoroughly enjoyed the braai,  as well as the very sweet programme presented by the little ones. So adorable!!

I just want the caregivers to know that we really appreciate what they do for our mom.
